A cherry blossom themed cake for cute little cherry blossom baby who turned the big ONE! This was a five layer vanilla cake filled with strawberry buttercream made with fresh strawberries. I covered the cake in fondant and also decorated the cake with pink fondant flowers, dark brown branches and little blue birds. I made a birds nest, little bird and a pink number one in gum paste as cake toppers to give the cake a complete finish. The birthday girls mama had done an incredible job creating a dessert table based around a bird theme and the cake was a gorgeous addition to the table!
